Bob Turns Bowls was born from a single fallen tree and a profound respect for its silent history. That simple desire to honor a tree’s legacy has since evolved into a dedicated practice centered on community-sourced timber. We believe every trunk holds a dormant sculpture; our craft is simply to listen, turn, and reveal the form that nature has spent decades preparing.

From Your Tree
If you have a hardwood tree that must come down, I’ll honor its life by turning the trunk into heirloom bowls, in exchange for the wood from your tree and in service to the life you've shared with it, i will return to you the best bowl i make from the first 20 i turn, at no charge. * I just need access to the trunk as soon as possible after it is felled, either in your yard or delivered to my studio by your tree service.
